When users open the StartupPal app, they begin by selecting whether they want to create a pitch for an Angel Network or a Venture Capital (VC) firm. This choice allows the AI to generate a script that aligns with what each type of investor typically looks for in a pitch. The user is then guided through a simple process to enter key details about their startup, including the problem they’re solving, their business model, market, traction, team, and funding needs.
Once submitted, StartupPal’s AI-powered script generator-built using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology-creates a custom, investor-ready pitch script tailored to the selected investor audience. Users can review the script, make edits, and regenerate sections if needed to suit their style and message.
They can then record their pitch video directly in the app using an integrated teleprompter and video recorder. The app provides guidance on delivery, offers re-recording options, and helps ensure the video is polished and professional.
Once completed, the video can be exported or sent directly through the app to a curated network of angel groups and VC partners, based on relevant sectors and funding stages. StartupPal streamlines the entire process-enabling founders to go from idea to investor-ready video pitch in just minutes.
